What is Concrete Core Drilling?

Concrete core drilling (also known as concrete coring) is the process of drilling a precise circular hole in vertical and/or horizontal concrete structures.

This could be required for electrical wiring, sprinkler systems, plumbing, HVAC ducts, etc.

Virtually any project that uses concrete can potentially require core drilling.

J&R utilizes handheld drills for holes 4” diameter or less.  For larger diameter holes we can either anchor or mount the stand to the surface or use a vacuum base on smooth, horizontal surfaces.
